What motivated you to become a writer? Starting on a blank page is not easy- where does your creativity come from?
My creativity comes from living or witnessing a situation, either dramatic or comical, and I build from there.
Do you write projects knowing that so many other factors need to happen to get it to screen and does that come into your project creation?
To me, getting a screenplay produced is a personal challenge. I continually seek classes to hone my skills as a writer, and each new learning experience motivates me more.
What is your dream for this project and what other ancillary revenue do you think it could generate?
Med Frenzy – A Conspiracy has an environmental theme, and is based on a true story, with the ending unresolved. It has similar attributes to Dark Waters, The Insider, and Erin Brockovich. I would love to get it produced, and once accepted, begin writing a sequel. I think appropriate ancillary revenue could be accomplished through a book, video or streaming, both domestically and internationally.
How has your experience been with screenwriting contests for this project so far?
I have not received placement as yet; I have garnered feedback and good coverage so far. I have, however, received credits from other screenplays as follows: 1 Option; Semifinalist American Gem Literary Festival; Quarterfinalist Scriptapalooza; and Quarterfinalist Emerging Screenwriters.
If you could stand in a room full of investor partners looking at many projects what would you like them to know about you and this project?
Personally, I am driven, and I don’t let up. I think this project would be called a tentpole film based on other successful films of this nature, and would financially provide the needs of a studio or network.
Do you have any website links for your writing, credits, background, etc that you would like to share?
I write both non-fiction books and screenplays, and the direct link to some of my screenplays are on my website:
