What motivated you to become a writer? I love creating and telling stories
Starting on a blank page is not easy – where does your creativity come from? Anywhere; it can come from a “I wish…”, it can be the extension of an observed moment; a newspaper article, or a what if?
Do you write projects knowing that so many other factors need to happen to get it to screen and does that come into your project creation?
No, I like the quote, write the story you wish to see. The rest is up to luck, timing and networking.
What is your dream for this project and what other ancillary revenue do you think it could generate?
My dream for “Unarmed and Dangerous” is to put some escapism comedy into people’s lives. A regular laugh s good for the soul.
How has your experience been with screenwriting contests for this project so far?
I have only entered it in two contests, receiving semi-finalist and quarterfinalist recognition.
If you could stand in a room full of investor partners looking at many projects what would you like them to know about you and this project?
“Unarmed and Dangerous” is a low budget, four quadrant comedy created by a writer with more ideas than time, at the moment. Invest in me and together our film will help the world laugh a little more.
Do you have any website links for your writing, credits, background, etc that you would like to share?
Here is my teaser trailer for “Unarmed and Dangerous” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNzBopyESrM
I have also had two short scripts commissioned, with the second in pre-production.
Thank you for this opportunity.
Regard and stay safe.
