What motivated you to become a writer?
Childhood passion. Was a published child author in second grade, published by the Houston Post. An essay about the first men in space.
Starting on a blank page is not easy- where does your creativity come from?
I do research and from that a spark of creativity blossoms by asking What If.
Do you write projects knowing that so many other factors need to happen to get it to screen and does that come into your project creation?
Negative I write for me. Always. If it sells is a bonus. Marketability is not one of my criteria.
What is your dream for this project and what other ancillary revenue do you think it could generate?
BOY TWO, SWINGING BY THE TAIL OF THE WORLD
Dreams are my scripts and having it produced is never a given. My dream is that when made people are entertained. Marketability on bits from the script always come from inspiration of others.
How has your experience been with screenwriting contests for this project so far?
I find the analysis helpful in shifting me off of the original ideas and developing the project to a more complete script the most helpful.
If you could stand in a room full of investor partners looking at many projects what would you like them to know about you and this project?
This script is the fire that molded the person I became. I have been an actors director for any medium I delve into and that means I listen and use what I hear to make the actor better. 45 years, TV, Radio, Stage, VO. I have excelled in every division of this industry….all because of the person I became out of this story.
Do you have any website links for your writing, credits, background, etc. that you would like to share?
