What motivated you to become a writer?
As a child, I had a strong imagination and a love of media. I started writing fan fiction in grade school and I never looked back.
Starting on a blank page is not easy- where does your creativity come from?
It can be hard without a motive, or a deadline, but a concept that lasts in your mind long enough to become an outline, then more, is an idea worth pursuing. Every new “what if” that crosses your mind is a chance for another masterpiece.
Do you write projects knowing that so many other factors need to happen to get it to screen and does that come into your project creation?
I write in hopes of success, not in expectation of it. I’ve made a few short films to make a name for myself. Now I want to start looking to work with/for others.
What is your dream for this project and what other ancillary revenue do you think it could generate?
My first draft of “Undying” was over 12 years ago. It has never left my mind. To see it become a series, and be involved in any way would be a dream come true.
How has your experience been with screenwriting contests for this project so far?
Decent, certainly some successes, but the big contests and festivals are beyond my ability to afford entry fees. It’s sad, really.
If you could stand in a room full of investor partners looking at many projects what would you like them to know about you and this project?
This idea is truly unique, and I have the passion to make it a reality.
Do you have any website links for your writing, credits, background, etc. that you would like to share?
